Aleksandar Filimonovic is an award winning Serbian-American actor, writer and producer, known for portraying the legendary American music producer Joe Bihari opposite Eddie Murphy in "Dolemite Is My Name", as well as Zolton opposite Julia Roberts and Sean Penn in "Gaslit". He has also appeared in the tv-shows "S.W.A.T.", "NCIS", "The Americans" and others, as well as many projects in the European cinematography. He is the writer and creator of adult-animated sitcom "Oaksterdum", the feature animation "Cellfie" and a live-action medieval epic adventure film "1389", which are in development. A graduate of Royal Holloway University of London and Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City, Aleksandar is spending increasing amount of time working at the top Hollywood Studios in Los Angeles, as well as their European productions. High-IQ member of MENSA, fluent in many languages, he has utilized dozens of local American and British dialects, as well as performed roles in fluent English, Serbian, Russian and Italian. A black belt, with vast and impressive sporting background, Aleksandar is also a prolific horseback-rider, as well as a certified precision driver, skydiver, motorcyclist, singer and dancer.
