Andrej Nježić is a talented Serbian actor known for his work in theater, film, and television. From an early age, he exhibited a passion for the arts, creating seven short films by the age of 15. Andrej graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. In 2023, he joined the Hartefakt theater company, securing a role in the play "Climax," an adaptation of Gaspar Noé's film, sharing the stage with actors like Anja Ćurčić, Pavle Mensur, and Aleksej Bjelogrlić. Andrej gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Ivan Katić in the television series "Vreme smrti," an adaptation of Dobrica Ćosić's novel. His character, a Parisian student volunteering for war despite being nearsighted, resonated deeply with audiences. Reflecting on the role, Andrej noted, "Ivan is a student from Paris who, as a volunteer, wants to go to war even though he is nearsighted... He doesn't take sides, believes in ideals, has retained common sense in the chaos of war, and doesn't understand why humans are the way they are." Beyond acting, Andrej is an avid reader, particularly of Stephen King's works, and draws inspiration from filmmakers like Alfred Hitchcock and Steven Spielberg. Andrej Nježić continues to establish himself as a prominent figure in the Serbian acting community, showcasing his versatility and dedication across various artistic mediums.
