Robert Prebil (b. 1964) has been a member of the Mladinsko Theatre ensemble since 1990. He has also worked with Koreodrama Ljubljana, the art programme of Radio Slovenia, and television.
He has appeared in the films The Windhunter, Grandma Goes South, Beneath Her Window, Class Enemy, and Ana’s Commission, as well as in the television series Our Daily Bread and Mother’s Day.
In 2003, he was part of the international artistic team behind the co-production of Cleansed by Sarah Kane, directed by Ivan Talijančić. That same year, he made his directorial debut with the performance No. 203 – The Spirit of the Truth at Mladinsko.
He is also the author of the book Blue Triangle and works as a visual artist, specializing in mosaic structures, which he has exhibited on multiple occasions.
In 2004, he received the Noble Comedian Award at the Days of Comedy festival in Celje for his role in The Farce of Master Pathelin (Špas teater). In 2002, as a member of the ensemble of Three Sisters, he received a special jury award for collective acting at the International Small Scenes Festival in Rijeka (Croatia).
