Goran Šušljik is a distinguished Serbian actor and director, celebrated for his extensive work in theater, television, and film. After graduating from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Šušljik became a prominent member of the Yugoslav Drama Theatre (YDT) ensemble in 1995, where he has since portrayed numerous memorable characters in productions such as Hamlet (as Horatio), Huddersfield (as Raša), and Crime and Punishment (as Koch). He has also directed several acclaimed productions, including The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Boško Buha Theatre.

In addition to his theatrical achievements, Šušljik has appeared in numerous films and television series, such as Train Driver’s Diary, No One’s Child, Huddersfield, and Roots, the latter of which he also produced. His talent has been recognized with several awards, including the prestigious Sterijino Pozorje awards in 1995 and 2005, the Zoran Radmilović award, and multiple YDT Annual awards.
